Car rental requests currently operate through a simple request form. Online booking and live availability are not yet available. Automatic cars are less common than manual in Morocco – say which you need. Drive on the right; speed cameras and police checkpoints are frequent.

Collect at the airport on arrival or from a city location once you have finished with the medina days – whichever suits your itinerary.
One-way rentals
Pick up in one city and drop off in another – for example Marrakech to Fes via the desert – so your route flows in one direction. Availability and any one-way fee are confirmed per request.
Rather not drive?

We reply with options
Vehicle categories, the price, what the rate includes – insurance, mileage, extras – and the deposit and document requirements.
STEP 3
You confirm
Nothing is reserved or charged until you say yes. Terms are agreed with you in writing.
STEP 4
Collect and go
You receive the pickup instructions; bring your licence, passport and payment card for the deposit, and check the vehicle before driving off.

Is Morocco Car Rental Right for Your Trip?
A car earns its keep on the coast, in the Atlas and along the kasbah route to the desert, where you can stop at a viewpoint, a village or a gorge whenever you like and public transport is thin. It is much less useful for a city-to-city trip on the train corridor, and useless inside a medina, where you will park at the gate and walk. Main roads are good; mountain roads are slow and winding; driving after dark outside cities is best avoided.

Good to Know
- Requests, not instant bookings. Rental cars are arranged on request; online booking and live availability will be added later.
- Costs and terms are confirmed before you commit. Sending a request is free. The rate, inclusions, insurance cover, deposit and cancellation terms are set out in our reply and agreed with you before anything is reserved.
- Documents and age. Rental companies set their own minimum age, licence and deposit requirements; bring your driving licence and passport. Whether an international driving permit is needed depends on your licence – we confirm this in the reply.
- On the road. Traffic drives on the right; speed limits are enforced and police checkpoints on main roads are routine – keep your papers to hand. Automatics are less common than manuals, so ask early if you need one.
- Check the car. Photograph existing damage and confirm the fuel policy at pickup.
- Visa first. If you need a Morocco eVisa, apply early and avoid non-refundable bookings until it is approved. A car rental has no effect on the visa decision, which is made by the Moroccan authorities.
- Check the terms. Confirm the insurance excess and whether one-way drop-off is included before you confirm; a 4×4 is only needed for pistes, not for the main desert routes.

Can I book a car instantly on this page?
Not yet. Car rental is arranged through a request form: you send your dates, locations and route, we reply with vehicle options and terms, and you confirm. Online booking and live availability will be added later.
How much does car rental cost?
It depends on the vehicle category, season, rental length, pickup location and insurance level, so we do not publish fixed prices. The rate and what it includes are set out in our reply and agreed with you before anything is reserved.
Do I need an international driving permit?
It depends on the country and language of your licence and on the rental company’s policy. Tell us where your licence was issued and we will confirm what is required in our reply.
Is driving in Morocco difficult?
Main roads and motorways are good and well signed. City traffic is busy and assertive, mountain roads are slow and winding, and rural roads carry everything from trucks to donkeys. Confident drivers manage fine; avoid night driving outside cities and leave time margins.
Can I do a one-way rental?
Often, between the main cities and airports. Tell us the pickup and drop-off points and we will confirm availability and whether a one-way fee applies.
Does renting a car help my visa application?
No. Travel services and visa assistance are separate. eVisa decisions are made by the Moroccan authorities based on your application alone.
